Netra Vasti
Netra Vasti (also known as Netra Tarpana) is an ancient Ayurvedic procedure designed to deeply nourish, cleanse and rejuvenate the eyes. During this procedure, a small "dam" of dough is formed around the eyes, into which warm healing ghee or oil is carefully poured. This healing substance envelops the eyes and acts on both the physical and energetic levels.
Netra Vasti is ideal for modern people who spend a lot of time in front of screens, suffer from dryness, redness or eye fatigue, as well as for those who want to improve their vision and reduce mental stress.
Key benefits:
- Restores and nourishes eye tissues, improves visual acuity.
- Reduces dryness, irritation and redness of the eyes caused by prolonged use of screens, pollution or lack of sleep.
- Improves sleep quality by calming the nervous system.
- Helps balance Pitta dosha, which in Ayurveda is responsible for eye health. Increases mental clarity and reduces fatigue.
- Can be used in case of chronic eye problems, such as glaucoma, cataracts or macular degeneration (as part of a treatment course).
Recommended for people with eye strain, a feeling of heat or tearing, as well as for those who read or work with texts for a long time.
