Shirodhara
Shirodhara is one of the most valuable Ayurvedic procedures, often called the king's procedure. The name consists of two parts: shiro - head and tara - continuous flow. During the procedure, warm oil, milk or herbal infusion is slowly poured onto the forehead between the eyebrows. It is more effective when combined with a general body massage or at least a head, face and neck massage, and is also one of the cleansing elements of Panchakarma. This procedure is not only pleasant, but also healing, as the oil penetrates deeply into the scalp and hair, promoting complete relaxation.
